BTA Awarded Gold for Hospital Website

Posted by Mike Davis on November 12, 2018

BTA is recognized for winning a 2018 gold “Best Overall Internet Site” eHealthcare Leadership Award (Hospital, 200-399 Beds) for the Western Maryland Health System (WMHS) in Cumberland, Md.

The new website is an engaging, responsive site that serves as a resource for WMHS patients, staff, volunteers and partners, as well as healthcare providers, the community and media.

In creating the new website, BTA relied on WMHS patient journeys to deliver an enhanced user experience; site content was updated for SEO (search engine optimization) purposes and the site was developed to ADA compliance and HIPAA standards.

BTA also added features to the physician’s directory, such as searching by name or service, photos and videos, and Google map.

“We’re honored to win gold in the eHealthcare Leadership Awards for the new Western Maryland Hospital System website,” said Ginna Royce, BTA President and Creative Director. “This award is not only a great achievement, it’s a testament to our team’s strategic collaboration and depth of healthcare experience.”

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards program recognizes the best websites and digital communications efforts of a wide range of healthcare organizations. More than 200 organizations received recognition for their outstanding work and winners–platinum, gold, silver, and distinction awards–represented 17 industry classifications, from hospitals and health systems to pharmaceutical firms and online health companies.
